Linda was a successful matchmaker before she started her business. She matched many of her friends from college, her sister and friends of her mother. Her natural intuitive knack for matching people, using traditional methods and carefully agreed upon criteria have resulted in thousands of happy couples and countless marriages.

Soon after having a dream that she was a successful matchmaker, she began her first matchmaking service in Manitoba. She sold this business to a client she had successfully matched. It still operates very successfully in that province.

Misty River Introductions was created with the name derived from the view of the Mississippi River flowing by Linda’s home in Carleton Place.

Michele’s past experience involving people in a professional and community capacity, allow her to put people at ease immediately upon meeting her. Her warm and friendly nature is apparent as she interviews potential clients to compile their profile. Michele has a keen sense of character, which gives her the ability to ensure potential clients get their best match. As Misty River’s fully bi-lingual relationship consultant, Joanne brings a cultural perspective to the work she does for our Francophone clients. Her background in technology and customer service allows her to liaison effectively between people we match each week.  Joanne is also on our matching team and works with Linda each week to make matches that work.

Title: Senior Client Relationship Consultant

Crystal attended the University of Manitoba, majoring in Psychology and settled in Ontario 10 years ago.  With her direct approach and insight into what makes a great match work, she works with our clients to encourage they take advantage of meeting a diverse and interesting group of candidates.  Crystal also interviews prospective clients during intake portion of registration.  Her extensive knowledge of the database enables her to determine whether or not we can match someone effectively.  This first hand knowledge makes her a great asset when it comes to matching.
